The Group follows the provisions of the legislation regarding broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) by instituting a policy for the upliftment of the historically disadvantaged in South Africa.

Murray & Roberts has identified the following areas for improvement:

• Targeted procurement
• Skills development
• Employment equity

The Letsema BBBEE shareholding offers previously disadvantaged employees, their families and some of the communities in which we are active, a stake in the company and its future by creating wealth and paying dividends to trusts.
