Leadership Pipeline
In the longer term, sustainable growth depends on the organic
development of leadership talent. Murray & Roberts has adopted a
process to develop and retain its own talent through a comprehensive
leader ship succession and development program, based on a common
understanding of the roles of leadership at all levels of the
organisation. This defines a long term succession planning process
ensuring a full and flowing pipeline of leadership talent.
Murray & Roberts is strengthening human capital development
throughout its leadership pipeline. The Group is awarding more
bursaries, facilitating more leadership development and providing
more learnerships and artisan training.
As part of an industry initiative, the Group has entered into an
agreement with other listed South African engineering and
construction firms and the Department of Education to support the
development of construction skills and underwriting of jobs at
Further Education & Training colleges. |
